Tim Hughes: A candidate with new ideas for protecting Pinellas County communities, preserving its natural resources, and improving the quality of life for its people.

While living in Pinellas County and visiting its beautiful coastlines along the Gulf, the Bay, and inner coastal shores, Tim realized how vulnerable nearly one million residents are in Florida's most densely populated county. With more than 50% of residents living in a floodplain — and the threat of hurricanes, storm surges, and sea level rise — he decided to run for County Commissioner to put his professional experience in watershed management, floodplain management, and stormwater practices to work for District 2.
